RAM-IT acquires the Interoperability Group: Healthcare IT gets stronger
RAM-IT integrates MedicalPHIT, Interoplab, and Lodamind — positioning itself as a full-service healthcare IT partner with greater capacity for digital health transformation.
RAM-IT has acquired the Interoperability Group — a network that includes Interoplab, alongside MedicalPHIT and Lodamind. With this move, RAM-IT significantly expands its healthcare portfolio and becomes a full-service partner for digital health in the Netherlands.
Greater capacity for healthcare
The acquisition brings three complementary expertise areas together:
- Interoplab — testing infrastructure and validation for healthcare interoperability (FHIR, DICOM, IHE)
- MedicalPHIT — consulting and implementation support for healthcare standards
- Lodamind — AI applications for healthcare
Together, these organizations form a team that can support the entire chain: from infrastructure management and strategy to interoperability validation, AI, and implementation.
What changes for Interoplab customers?
For existing customers, nothing changes in day-to-day collaboration. Interoplab continues to operate under its own brand with the same team and same focus on testing infrastructure and standards. What does change: our capabilities expand. Customers who need both testing services and broader IT support or AI expertise can now find everything within one partnership.
A logical step
Interoperability doesn’t exist in isolation. Successful implementations require strategic insight, technical expertise, and tools to demonstrate compliance. By combining our forces, we can guide healthcare organizations better — from initial exploration through demonstrable compliance.
